A new 3 part series on BBC4, starting this Thursday 10 January at 9pm.
The series is looking at the British genius for woodwork over the centuries. It is part of the partnership between the V&A and BBC Four presenting Handmade in Britain, an ambitious year-long season exploring the history of British decorative arts.
The first show concentrates on Thomas Chippendale and we have been told that the third show on 24 January may well feature Chris Pye carving a Green Man out of English Oak. We will all have to watch to find out more! For further details of the programme and when they will be shown, please click here
